7. Story and clark

My art is always informed and challenged by the question, am I creating art or is art creating me? I use words, pictures, thoughts, steel, wood, ideas, and emotions to restructure these with the desires and motivations that drive me to make art. It is this process that allows me to appropriate and shape meaning. During the active process of working and creating, forms emerge. I am excited most by the clarity of nonobjective forms.
