About This Organization Kingsport Ballet is a classical ballet school and company with a Vaganova curriculum . The organization is directed by ballet mistress and artistic director Valeria Sinyavskaya, and presents the Nutcracker the first weekend in December and a full-length ballet such as Swan Lake. Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia each spring. Students also perform in a Spring Concert in May, as well as in various educational outreach and collaborative, community performances. A yearly summer workshop is held in July, featuring master teachers from around the world. The organization is hosued in a spacious, renovated facility with a mini-theatre in downtown Kingsport.
