New Website Launches
The Arts Council of Greater Kingsport, in cooperation with BaseRunner Net Services, has launched a new and improved website. It has all the features of the original site as well as some new ones.
Artist Registry- We now offer a fully searchable data base of local artists and arts organizations. We offer multiple levels of membership and can even link an artist’s registration to images of their work as well as their personal website.
Arts4Kids – Arts4Kids is in its 5th year and with the new site we are able to increase the amount of information available. On the new page you will find lists of up coming events, press releases, registration forms, and tons of pictures of our previous workshops.
Affiliate Organizations/ TicketBiscuit - We now have links to all of our local arts affiliate’s websites, as well as, information on their upcoming events. We also offer services for purchasing tickets online for these events through our TicketBiscuit program.
Partnering Programs – We offer information on Art Nights City Lights and Public Art. Those are two of the programs in which we partner with the City of Kingsport’s Cultural Arts Division to bring arts programming to the Kingsport community.
Our mission is to support and promote the arts in order to enhance the cultural, social and economic climate in our community and we believe that this website is going to be a great resource to help facilitate that. Please take a minuet of your time and check it out! www.kingsportARTS.org
This website was made possible through an Arts Build Communities grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission. The Arts Council of Greater Kingsport is also funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as, the Kingsport Community Foundation (a fund of the East Tennessee Foundation), Eastman Chemical Co., the City of Kingsport’s Cultural Arts Division, and other local sponsors.
